    Hi.

I have this laptop and sometimes i need more muscle for big excel docs. Is it possible to replace the CPU? I have a spare p8600 and I think both are socket P, but I dont know if it is possible to open and exchange de CPU or it is soldered or something like this. At this moment, the laptop has a u7300 CPU.

The intel CULV SU* CPUs are soldered to the board. You can't change them. You'd probably have better luck overclocking it a bit with setfsb.

Still, being a Ultra Portable laptop, the fan isn't THAT good to hold overclocks...

Kinda off topic, but how can I change my description from notebook consultant for something else? I have 200+ posts and 45 rep points. There is no such option in "Edit Profile" in my CP.

Hi pals. Sorry, didn't get the mail notifying replies.

As far as I read, it doesn't worth the overclock... Thanks.
