I bought an Atheros miniPCI wireless card. I installed into the slot under the keyboard in my Asus M6nE. When I boot up there is no indication that the card is there. I did hook up the antennae. Any ideas? Thanks!

Try installling the drivers/ software again.
Recheck the connection again to the card. Make sure everything is hooked up right to. Always that chance there was something put in wrong. :)

Does it show up in the device manager at all (My Comptuer Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager)? Because if it doesn't, then it's probably not in properly. What kind of card did you have in before?

I think I may have found the problem. There are visible burns on the card, so I'm pretty sure it's fried. I bought it from that guy on EBay from England who sells a ton of them, so hopefully he'll replace it. Thanks for the quick reply!

I just got an e-mail from the guy I bought it from. They said they would replace it if I sent it back.

Yes tell us how it goes as I am looking to replace my Intel 2200b/g with an Atheros...one of their newer ones with the XR technology.

    Cheers,
    Mike
