I have an audio question that hopefully you guys can help me with:

First, what exactly is the output on the z63a? The manual says its s/pdif but people in the forums hve said it's optical, so is it really a toslink?

Second, I have a 5.1 speaker system that only has analog miniplug inputs. Is there a digital to analog converter i can purchase to connect those speakers to my laptop and have 5.1 sound? I have googled and all i can find are analog to digital converters.

I think that the z63a uses a mini toslink s/pdif. As for connecting to your 5.1, creative DDTS-100 might work for you.
