I have a older M50sv and I just notice that I can't get audio to go out thru the HDMI port (have always use spdif). I just wondering if anyone with the newer ASUS have gotten audio thru the HDMI while hooking up to a HDTV?

Have you tried opening your output cpanel and changing the Default sound output to HDMI? works for me

Got it. Didn't realize that you also have to set output to HDMI on PowerDVD after you set the sound in the CP to HDMI. Thanks.
