    Aus W5G00A Video Woes!!!

    Love this laptop due to it's lightweight...not as powerful as my Asus M6BNE, but is perfect for someone like me who is always on the go.

    A few days ago my LCD flickered a few times and then the video went out on the LCD. You can see the image on the screen, but it's so dark it is barely visible unless u are 4 inches away from it.

    I'm still able to work on it by connecting to an external monitor.

    Has anyone experienced this phenomenon on this particualr model and how did u get the video on the LCD working again. :confused:

    I've already gotten an RMA # from ASUS, but hoping it is something simple that can be fixed on my own.
