    Automobile Adapter from Gentech PC

    Does anybody know how to put the power connector on these things? The instructions are really poorly written, and are very ambiguous, and basically state that if you do it the wrong way you could damage the computer. Here is a quote:

    The diagrams shown here do not shed any light on the subject at all. Has anyone gotten one of these from Gentech? I'm starting to wonder if it was a mistake. It's pretty much a 50/50 chance I will damage my computer, because these instructions don't make any sense at all. Thanks for any input.

    You can check without worry of damaging anything if you turn off the computer and remove the battery, then test one polarity, plug it in, and see if the AC power light comes on, then do it again for the other side. Make a mark with a knife or something of which side is which.
