    Have you contacted the company you purchased your G1 from? That's where I would start...

    Don't know if this would help as I am still figuring out which computer to buy...

    But...

    I looked at the ASUS web site and got the battery info from the specs.
    Li-Ion 71WHrs (8 cells: 4800mAh, 4S2P)

    If you plug the model number "4S2P" into a battery website you might get a hit.

    ie..

    But please call them because I don't want to lead you awry as there could be specific locking tabs or holes and such on different models..
