I recently ran 3dmark06 but after I ran it, it told me my GPU is a GTX170 and not a 260. What's up with that? Is it because Asus underclocked the GPU? Is there a fix for it?

3dmark is also reporting GTX 170 in my G51. When I open the program it says it is a 260, but when I get the score it reports the same thing as you're link.

thats just how nvidia labeled the card. you cant change it. it's nothing to worry about. the gtx 170 was the original name for the gtx 260m.

As ChinNoobonic said, the GTX 170M = GTX 260M
