    There are two users on this Z96Js running Windows XP Pro.

    Here's how to get the BSOD...

    * Log in as user #1
    * Remove power plug so it goes on battery power
    * Switch users
    * Log in as user #2
    * Voila! BSOD!

    The BSOD produces the most helpful information...

    Nothing is actually listed in the area where you normally see error messages.

    Under Technical Information...

    Using WinDbg, it points to ati2mtag.sys and ati2cqag.dll as the culprits.

    This happens with and without Power4 Gear installed. This also happens with and without Catalyst 7.6 drivers installed. I reinstalled the stock drivers from the CD, and now I just downloaded the ATI video drivers from the Asus website (which appear to be some kind of Catalyst driver) and will install that.

    Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

    those two programs are both ati driver stuff and it seems that its a video error (07 is vid, 08 is mem I think). Might want to try the Omegas..
