Not all resellers have backpacks. (Edit, according to others there IS always a backpack bundled with G51VX-A1, my mistake.)

apt, chances are that will be too small. The G51VX uses a chasis that is very close to the dimensions of a G71.

Hmm ...ok .... I don't know if that backpack will fit , but I know my oakley Icon Backpack 2.0 will fit nicely in the back where all the cusion is .. if you have a family member that is the military or work for goverment go to www.usstandardissue.com .... those backpack only cost you $75 , and it have a lot of room if it's a laptop smaller than 17' ( my old 7811 can't fit in the back pocket which was intended for the laptop but it will fit a 16" and below because it was just barely not enough )

The general rule for the G5# series in general is to go buy a 17 incher backpack. 15 inchers might fit but it would be an extremely tight squeeze

Where are you purchasing your G51VX-A1? All G51VX-A1's comes with a backpack as saincteye mentioned. This is provided by Asus, not the reseller and this particular SKU is suppose to be bundled with a bag and mouse.

I might use the ASUS provided backpack for my older 15.4" laptop. Hence I was looking for a backpack which can fit the G51. So I can use it interchangeably for both laptops.

All of the reseller versions of the A1's come with the backpack, mouse, EEE Stick and 9 games in the Asus box.

It reminds me that I asked this question before but went un-answered. Where can I buy an extra EEE Stick or only one stick is supported unlike the Nintendo Wii ?

I just called the ASUS eStore and I was told that I need to check with the resellers for EEE sticks.
