Does anyone know what services i NEED to be running on windows vista?

I have an ASUS G1S running Windows Vista home premium. All i want it to do is play world of warcraft...

As it is right now there are tons of stuffs running in the processes tab of the task manager. Which ones can i turn off or is there another way to speed up my computer? Its running very slowly and crashes often.
