I think I got a hard drive issue. I took out a notebook harddrive from an old notebook and bought one of those USB 2.0 cases for the hard drive so I could use it as a backup storage. Well the drive is about 10gb and I have about 4 gb of info on there but I cant seem to copy any more information on there. I think maybe some sectors went bad or tracks but I cant seem to fix it. Scan disk doesnt do anything is there any other programs i can use to scan it and fix it.

Hard drive manufacturers generally have diagnostic utilities which can identify and in some cases fix issues with the hard drive. Check the manufacturers website for these.
