Is it true that the CPU looses performance when the AC is plugged in? I heard getting an updated BIOS is the solution but where would I obtain one if this is the case? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Just in case you don't want to wade through that thread (I know - it's long), YES, the CPU looses performance when the AC is plugged in (especially when the battery is charged under 90% ;). NO, there is currently not a new BIOS that fixes this problem (we are on BIOS 204 right now). HOWEVER, it has been revealed that Asus is aware of the problem and is working on getting a BIOS fix out soon. Hope this clears things up (like my caps?).
