Hey I was searching around for comparisons between the G2s and the G1S and didn't find much info. Can anyone tell me what the times are for each one. Average on both.

I'm gona probably order the G2S i could care less about the weight unless the battery life is significantly different.

I would say the average on the G1S is about 2 1/2 hours.

The G2S is bigger so it will not have as much battery life as the G1S. The review for the G1S ( here) says that it has about 2h and 30min of battery life.

30-45 mins less is my guess, although it may have a bigger battery. I don't know. Let me look.

now its understood that the remaining time will accelerate and decelerate based on programs used and if i turn the brightness down

The batteries are actually 100% identical. the only difference is the screen. the larger screen does use more power
