I have a VX2 Lamborghini, I won on MSN Hotmail..(for real) and don't know much about this laptop. Wanted to know if the battery is only supposed to last like a little over an hour once fully charged??? Can you get batteries that last longer?

    Hi,

(let me first say, great avatar :) )

    Is the notebook new? Otherwise:

    1. Is the VX2 based on the V6? If so, then you're probably suffering from the dreaded battery wear problem.

    2. Otherwise, it might be that the battery has simply worn out due to use (i.e. it doesn't hold much charge as it held when it was new). Many notebook batteries nowadays wear out pretty fast, I think they are made like that.

If the notebook IS new, then either your power profiles are not right, or you have a bad battery.

In all situations above, we can get more info using the battery properties. Please, download RMClock, install it, and run it with No Management, just check the battery properties page. Make a screenshot and post it, we'll get more info from there.
