I undervolted my laptop some time ago, and since then I have not been able to fully charge my battery. I have to unplug and then replug the laptop repeatedly for the computer to fully charge. I'm not sure if the undervolting and the problem with the battery are related.

great news, we found a solution to your problem!
Hey wait a minute!
We don't know what laptop your talking about... sigh* =\
Sorry, i've seen so many post saying something...but they don't tell us what laptop or specs they have, or any specifics for us to help diagnose the problem.
As soon as you can provide us with the appropriate info, then we can take the appropriate means to help you.
Thanks,

Does your laptop have windows and buttons? Is it the one with alphabets plastered to the little sqaure keys? Does it light up when u turn it on? If so then indeed you ha ve a laptop. -
Undervolting would not effect your battery. you either A. have a defective adapter. B. have a defective battery or C. the point where the adapter plugs into the pc is messed up. not sure the name of that i think its a thingamajig. what does the adapter light do and what are the pcs lights doing when you plug it in. The charging light and adapter. light.

^ Hey...I have a thingamajig, and I have that same problem. Those thingamajig's are so unreliable compared to whosewhatsits.
On another note, try downloading an app that diagnoses your battery to see if it's damaged. I've seen a couple topics on this, so a quick search of the forum should bring results. -

Something tells me creon448 has a Z70A...
-
I might have the same problem with my M6VA, it will sometimes won't charge any further than 98%, untill I plug it out and in again. Well, for me it isn't a big problem as I don't want to miss it for a week or so, but is this a defect, and is it 'dangerous' for the notebook?
NHC and MobileMeter report both 0% Wear level, if this has anything to do with the problem. -
(With great sarcasm) Wow, you guys are really hilarious.
I have an Asus Z70A. This battery issue will be the second slightly serious problem I've had with this notebook. -
creon448 we need more information, like how long you've had your notebook for and how often you use it on battery power.
Your battery will begin to lose life after time so just do a battery calibration for your computer to detect your battery's new capacity.
Sounds normal to me. Also, how much does it charge up to? -

creaon you still need to give us a little more info...like how long have you had it, and how much you use the battery and for what use if possible.
Also, you need to get a program like mobile meter or use NHC or RMclock to undervolt it. So if you got RMclock, try NHC and try to recharge the battery, if there's still a problem.
Un-undervolt and then charge the battery. Also check for wear %.
Also where did you buy it from. You may wanna take it into the store and have them check it out, (or you may havta send it in).
Also a Z70a is sorta old, so you got 1 year warranty on the battery, so you wanna replace it roughly 1-2 months before that battery warranty ends.
Try that stuff out, and report back so we can help you.
Thanks,

hmm overcharging...=\ did you leave your notbook for charging overnite?
Overcharging i think is caused by either a small or big electrical charge that goes to the outlet and then charges the battery.
This is a bad thing cos it will kill the battery faster.
Howevr if this is constantly happening then it may just be incorrect reading and you would need to calibrate your battery in order to get proper readings.
Hope this Helps,
Thanks,

Also could you explain more about 'calibrating' my battery? I fully changed my battery this morning and currently using it now without AC Power and it started with 106% too.
