I got this ASUS P50IJ-X2 in early June. When I use it, I plug in the charger whenever I get a low battery warning. I then let it charge to 100%, fully charged. Now, my battery wear level is 14% according to CPUID HWMonitor. Is this normal to have so much wear so soon? What can I do? Should I run the battery down to zero by booting from a basic boot disc with no auto-hibernate?

Its an ACPI error with Asus models in general. Try recalibrating the battery - that should fix the issue

I wouldn't worry about the battery wear percentage. Every time I charge mine it changes (shows between 3% and 19%).
