New to this forum thought guys might want to take a look at this beast of a laptop

Tell me what you guys think of it?

Only thing I want to know how much will a laptop like this cost perhaps a downpayment on a house? Do you guys think this is the world's fastest laptop?

"will sport a 1TB SSD, a Core 2 Quad CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 16-inch "Full HD" display. You'll also find a GeForce GT 130M graphics card with 1GB of GDDR3 memory, an illuminated "chiclet" style keyboard and a Blu-ray optical drive to boot"

    It is not the fastest

The reason why it cost so much it because of the 4 256GB SSD's that make the 1TB

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Info on the VX5 has already been posted numerous times around here, but thanks for being so thoughtful :)

As for the price, it's not set yet at the moment, but it won't cost anywhere near the amount of a down payment on a house; maybe a down payment for a used car is more accurate

The VX5 is was never designed to be the fastest or most powerful notebook. Those are still reserved for the Sager 9262 (CPU-wise) and the Asus W90Vp (GPU-wise).

Nevertheless, the VX5 is an extremely attractive notebook with superior aesthetics coupled with very decent components.
