    Ideas? I want power. Raw power. w3j looks great but seems to lack ram so I would go for a more custom-type model like those on geared2play.com, but then I hear the build quality on those isn't the best. Ideas?

    you could always buy ram and upgrade it yourself. As long as you keep the original, you won't void the warranty.

    ram in most cases does not void warranty. if you buy from a place like startech (don't remember the website) or if you order the mx (asus a8jm with similar specs to the w3j) you can customize your system.

    You could go with the W3j. Then upgrade to 2GB's of 667mhz RAM, a 100GB 7200RPM HD, then later on buy a T2700 2.33ghz duo CPU.
