    HEY GUYZ !!!

    I AM LOOKING FOR AN ASUS LAPTOP WITH THE FOLLOWING CONFIG. & FEATURES, COULD SOMEONE RECOMMEND THE MODELS. I DONT HAVE MUCH KNOWLEDGE REGARDING THE LAPTOPS.

    - DVD WRITER
    - ATI RADEON MOBILITY GRAPHIC CARD 64MB OR 128MB
    - 1.6 - 1.86 GHz (PLEZ RECOMMEND IF THERE IS A MODEL W/T THE NEW CENTRINO Sanoma TECH.)
    - 512 MB RAM or more
    - 60 GB HARD DRIVE (PREFERABLY 7200RPM)
    - GOOD BATTERY LIFE (ATLEAST 2.5 HRS)
    - WEIGHT 2 - 3KGS (COULD BE MORE)
    - 15" OR MORE SCREEN SIZE (GLOSSY SCREEN)
    - BLUE TOOTH IF POSSIBLE
    - GOOD SPEAKERS

    BASCIALLY A MULTIMEDIA BEAST !!! AND BY THE WAY HOW IS THE MODEL V6000V ???

    COULD SOMEONE ALSO TELL ME WHAT IS THAT FEATURE KNOWN AS WHERE ONE CAN RECORD OR WATCH T.V. ON THE LAPTOP. AND IF SOMEONE CAN RECOMMEND A GOOD LAPTOP WITH THAT FEATURE.

    PLEZ DO MENTION A LAPTOP CLOSE TO THESE FEATURES IF NOT SOMETING WHICH HAS GOT ALL OF THE ABOVE.

    at the moment i don't think Asus has any glossy screen 15' with a TV tuner. You may want to wait for the W2.

    Why would you want a glossy screen anyways? Well the Z71V is the hit of the year, but then the Z70V is starting to rule. I've got a Z70V myself- it's a great system, with a great screen.

    You could take plenty of people's advice, but nothing is going to do what a little research will....... if you had it narrowed down a little at least people could comment, but...

    The V6 is a good option......... maybe, just MAYBE, a barebone version of the W1 would fit your needs exactly.......... but perhaps, if you can do to a 17", the W2 would certainly fit the rest of the requirments except maybe weight.. it's about 3.2kg
