What is the best model on the market for a college student to lug around and use? (Good battery life, not overheating, small/under 15 inches, etc)

Of course, I will be using it for a fair share of gaming as well. (Wow, CoD2, & GTA IV/ SC2/ D3 when they come out!) :)

    Thanks guys!

I will be picking the G50.

They are the same exact size so might as well go with the more powerful machine.

Battery life and price factor into my decision, as semi-decent battery life is a must for college.

For me the 15 inch will be a little too big. How is the F6 guys?

I don't believe you'll be smoothly playing games that didn't yet come out, on the F6. You can't have both. Either you have portability and then you sacrifice gaming power -- or the other way around...

I went with the M50Vm-A1 and feel that this will work out great for college.

Why do you guys prefer the M50VM over the F8? Does it have a better battery life? Thanks

From what I've read the M50vm actually does have better battery life than the F8, the F8 gets a bit over two hours on a six cell, but I've heard that the M50VM can do right around three on a six cell and around 4 on a 9 cell.
