    Hi
I'm looking at purchasing the Z70va and i was wondering where is the best place to buy it from? I currently live in Vancouver, BC, but will be moving to Montreal Quebec by Feb20. I've been doing a lot of reading and research on these forums and i thought there might be some people that have a reseller that they would really prefer over another..
The resellers i know of in canada are Canadasys and Anitec.. but from the looks of the website from CanadaSys it doesn't look like they have factory installed bluetooth models.. and Anitec doesn't even have it listed.
I was also wondering if it's better to buy from a reseller in canada or is it ok to purchase from one in the states? and the pros/cons of doing a purchase from the states? (sorry if thats a stupid Q)
So i finally rounded up enough money to purchase a notebook, but now i just need to findout where i should get one from.
    thanx!! :)

If you buy from CanadaSys in BC or Quebec, you won't pay PST, only GST.

I'm not too sure about the BT factory installed Z70va's, is there a problem with not having that?

As for importing it, theres nothing wrong with it, just that you have to make sure customs doesn't hit you, and make sure you can easily warranty it(sending it back, etc.)

    awsome thanks coriolis!
yea i sent out some inquiries about the BT and im just worried about difficulties with the chassis and integrity of the chassis from disassembly to reassembly to install the BT.. i guess i just want my notebook to be solid, hah which is why im not interested in DELL anymore..
and how would customs hit me? (sorry i really don't know)

Customs taxes everything that comes in and out, usually around 15%.

They don't ALWAYS but sometimes they do, its weird. I've gotten hard drives and sound cards from the US with $20-$40 custom fees, while I had mouses, wireless cards and clothing without any customs. None of them were marked as gifts and all were in the $60-$110 value range...

anitec has it listed, but it's on back order :(
    http://www.anitec.ca/?mode=product_detail&pid=4818&mcid=23

NCIX is another reseller, also located in greater vancouver area. they say the notebook should be availble 2-5 days after the order. it's got BT builtin :)
    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=16644&vpn=90ND5GD41000000L20&manufacture=ASUS

both of them are respectable resellers, i always go to them for my computer needs. mainly because i can just walk in and pick up my stuff rather having them shipped :p

I ordered the Z70va from Canadasys, back in december when they had an upgrade package on special. I actually bought it due to the features and Coriolis's recommendations.

Shipping was quick and easy, ncix was my other choice but chose to go with someone that deals mostly with laptops.

Either way, you shouldn't be disappointed.

You are not right, I believe we are the only one has factory installed BT model in Canada at this moment, we have more than 10 units left, we also have good inventory of non-BT model in stock.
