So out of all the coolers listed on this page the Zalman NC2000 or NZXT Cryo LX are still the best for the G51?

My NC2000 hasn't failed me. To get the best cooling on it just move it down and to the right.

From looking over that review index there were a few new ones that caught my attention. The NC2000 is pretty much the cookie cutter most popular laptop cooler of choice, but it may not necessarily be the best. The Cryo LX is possibly the most powerful (and most expensive), but it is certainly not the most portable.

Now the Aeolus CP001 has also shown some pretty positive results and is considerably cheaper than the other two options mentioned above. Unfortunately it's shape isn't the most superior and the extended reach makes it impractical for lap use, but on a desk it should work fine.

Something a bit more portable, yet still effective, would be the Thermaltake T1000. One positive point I noticed with this model was that the primary fan ventilation is located on the upper half making it more fitting for the G51's air intake.

The Thermaltake's fans is dead center in the back, which is missing the sweetspot CPU and GPU areas. The Aeolus might be promising if you're on budget, but note that it's a bit small.
