I'm in the US and wondering where the best place to buy an eeepc 1000h is.

Amazon and Newegg don't have it. Buy.com has it, but I don't like buy.com after they leaked my credit card number.

Also I'm worried that even if a retailer says they have it they really don't and I'll be waiting a long time for it to ship. Of course I could ask them before ordering, but wonder if anyone here has advice.

Seems like eeepc is in short supply. I was looking at msi wind but that's even harder to find and with the price changes the eeepc seems better.

    Any recommendations?

Don't the resellers listed in the Info Booth have it listed? If so, they are usually the most trustworthy (they will support you better than those big-name stores after your purchase).

Ah, ok, I should have read the InfoBooth.

What is portable one? Is there a link to them?

Thanks for all the replies. Now I know!
