I searched for a nice sleeve/case in store so i could have a case for my newly bought w3v (which i got for a great price, lol). anyway, its only $20 at best buy compared to online vendors that sell it from $30-$60, so head off to your local best buy to get this! This will 100% be a perfect fit for the w3j and the w3v but will most likely fit other 14" widescreen asus notebooks. Also, people that are worried about the zipper scratching the lappy, fret not, as there is a quarter of an inch or so of space between the battery and the zipper! even tho thats true, the case is very snug and provides great protection for putting it into a backpack or messener bag or even to carry around under your arm. pics speak for itself, ask me any questions! :p

Speaking of sleeves. Do you guys know how good are the neocases from RadTech? do you think it would fit on a W3j at all?

Also, what about the booqbags? I can't seem to find if any of the Vyper sleeves would fit....

    Thanks in advance.

Those memory foam cases by Sumdex and the " Zero shock" ones are pretty good as well.

Hehe nice, I was just fixing to create a thread similar to this. I recieve my w3j monday, and was concerned by the lack of cases for 14" widescreens. Nice to see the "up to 15inch" case fits well. :)

I was afraid if I bought one it would be to large.

for any canadians out there with a w3j I just bought an "init" sleeve at futureshop. It is a soft/hard case that fits very nicely around the w3j. I think that it is advertised as an "up to 15 inch" sleeve. I will be putting the w3j in this and then putting it in my bag (which is a messenger bag). The reason I am doing this is and not buying a full laptop bag is because when I take my w3j somewhere I usually have other stuff in there (wether its books or whatever) So this sleeve will protect it from pretty much anything in and out of my bag. I would recommend this sleeve for sure- it's a little more pricey than other sleeves but its very sturdy and fits the w3j very well.

    What's up,
I was just wondering if it was better to have a sleeve that fits fairly snuggly, or if a little more room for a smaller laptop would be okay. I am planning to buy the w7j when it comes out (13.3"), and this looks like a good sleeve to pair it with.
    thanks,
    Jake

    What's up,
I definately will. Just that it seems everyone loves this one in particular so it must pretty good. I have a sleeve for my current 13.3 notebook and it fits pretty snug (to the point that I have to pull hard to get it out!), but it fits in my compact backpack really well (I really don't want to lug around those huge notebook backpacks!). I don't even have the laptop yet and I'm worrying about cases for it! Oh well thanks for replying!
