Anything other then a GPU makes this thread a complete fail.

A few years back i saw a mod for a pc that involved some kind of cooling using a piece of material that is hot on one side and cold on the other. it would be cool to see that in the c90s gpu. there is plenty of room

Working with one of those it may as well be a desktop as im pretty sure you would find no good way to keep it portable. -
Update:
Okay, the guide just isn't going to happen today. This "minor" problem of mine is becoming a real nuisance. Anyway, if I can't get it fixed by tomorrow then I will post the entire guide anyway and you guys can give me a hand.
I'm sure it's something relatively easy that I have just overlooked. I'm the guy that can do the hard stuff without too much of a problem, but then completely fail on the easy crap. Yeah, that's me lol
I'll keep you guys updated, either way you WILL all know what the heck I'm talking about by tomorrow. -
Hey Vicious I need your help.. I remember in a post awhile ago you were talking about measuring how much power was being drawn from your AC adapter while using your C90S. I can't seem to dig up the post, how did you go about doing that?
Thanks. -

A pretty cheap device called the Kill-a-watt

Thanks Vicious, I'm pretty sure I know what my problem is now
-
So...a 120watt PS is enough, whereas you're currently using a 90w? This could mean a new GPU or accepting the newer CPU's...or heck, a quad core!

it has to be a GPU or CPU that's why he is asking about power
-
Don't worry, I didn't forget about you guys. I'm writing the guide right now and taking the final pictures. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out this last problem so hopefully you guys can lend me a hand. Here's a teaser picture until the rest of the guide is done...
Think... "what the heck could this be for?"

Were waiting....
And My finger is resting on the big red ban button! -

Yes I will, Yes I will.
-
All jokes aside, I'm writing it now and taking some more pictures, I could really use the help of the community in figuring out this last very annoying issue. I've got a few ideas as to what's causing it but hopefully someone will know for sure.
ETA for the guide should be a few hours. -
I'm oozing anticipation.

All this for whit stickers :<

That picture looks like a diagram for a heatsink.

I have a feeling that the mod Vicious and I made are much cooler

My gpu already ran super cold, the only reason I would want more cooling is if he added a different non compatible gpu, or a 2nd gpu and some how found a way for sli.

Since we don't know what "it" is it's kind of difficult to offer any meaningful input.
Is the paper to be used as kindling to set the C90 on fire when it overheats?
Cheers, -
Why else would he need to rediagram the GPU heatsink?
-
Actually, I've got about a 4" long and 3" wide rectangular HOLE in the back of my C90S' "ace door" right over the GPU and it only made about a 2* Celsius difference in temps. Without a laptop cooler it doesn't help that much. But every little bit of cooling is a help, and it's not hard to do, so it's worth it.
:about half way done with the guide: -
The guide is now 90% completed. Should be posted very soon.

Yay!!!!!!!!

Okay I am dying to see whats the fuss all about!
A GPU modification... maybe its a high end GPU with external power attached to itand the new heatsink to help keep it cool heh.
At least that would be cool to see. -
