I updated my BIOS to 208 from the asus download site.

    Its a G51J with Win7 64.

However after the bios update my system is now listed in system properties as "Asus Notebook G60 series".

Is there any way to fix this ?
Have I installed the wrong bios file ?
    Is it important ?

    Thanks

The Asus G51 has always been a G60. Even from stock settings it is identified as a G60.

Nothing to fix, they are the same notebook, but the G60 is equipped with a 16inch screen instead og 15.6 inch. That's all. Don't worry and enjoy your laptop!

I thought it said G51 in the windows system properties before ...

I guess it doesn't affect the performance but it's a bit annoying that it doesn't display the correct system in windows.

At least it is to me ..
