Are there any ways of making bioshock work on the stock ddr3 8600m gt video card drivers?

umm ive played bioshock using that card ( 8600m GT 256mb), no problems here, maybe turn your res down a little bit.

I have found that I have the same problem and I have the same video card, if anyone could help that would be awsome.

have you tried updating your video drivers? you can always update them and if you dont like something, just revert back to the stock drivers

This is quite common, you can fix it by turning of DX support in video options of the game, but if you want DX10 you will need to update the drivers and go to the microsoft website and download the latest DX10 driver pack
