Hi, I have a new G1S and spent all day installing my own Vista Ultimate and then updating all my drivers, yet when I go to start Bioshock, all I see is the splash screen for it and it sits there with the HDD light doing crazy....
my desktop running an AMD x2 6000+ and 8800GTS loads the game in a split second.
anyone think this is a game/ driver missing issue and not a 5400rpm hdd issue?

It won't work with stock driver, you need to download the driver from laptopvideo2go.com, version 163.44 or higher in order to play BioShock:

You almost need to download the modded inf and copy paste into the extracted driver folder before run setup.exe. -
its the Asus G1S -X1
and I installed the V7.15.11.0138
from asus site. -
If I remember right the X1 is from bestbuy?

I have a version of Bioshock (darkcoder) that is corrupting my 3D functions of the card for all of 3D applications if I install the directx it came with (july).. Had to go through some installs of winodowz to figure that out.. It works beautifully on my C90 now with the official august release of directx and laptop2go drivers..
Bioshock wont start on new G1S-X1
