    Hi anyone notice the black Asus S96J on the GenTech site? I'm guessing it's unlikely that for only ~$80 you get a custom case, so the question is, how are they painting the notebook? I mean, do they only remove the silver panels and then spray paint them black? Any special/insulation coating on that?

    Probrably just paint with a glossy layer on top? Bets to send off an email and ask!

    Yeah, the price seems awesome. I'm just not sure about it, seems so "reflective" or "flashy" I wonder if the color's gonna stand out too much ...
