    Hello everyone.

My f3t doesn't boot anymore since last night. It was fine on the morning. I got home and turned it on and the hdd spins, the dvd drive does it's sound, but when the asus logo should come up, nothing appears on the screen. Connecting an external monitor on the vga out doesn't work.

The fans work, but there's no hdd led activity, no beep sound. It's not loading the os, so maybe it's not the screen flex cable but the 7600go??. :S. I think it might be the video card and not the flex cable because the vga out doesn't output anything. Or is the flex cable responsible for both the laptop screen and vga and dvi outs?. Maybe its the mobo...

    Is my f3t dead?. :(

    Thanks.

    Few things to try:
    - Remove one stick of RAM at a time to test
    - Remove battery and AC, use paperclip to stick into the "pinhole" at the bottom of the laptop to reset the BIOS.

If it doesn't work then it's most likely the bad video card or motherboard.
