Hi m8s;
Recently I hace noticed that when I unplug AC brick of my W3V, when finally is fully charged, the status big icon (upper left) changes from super perform to other one (no time to view it) and the screen goes to black, hanging the system with no response of whatever combi of keys, fn+whatever key... etc.
Then I must press 3 secs power button to reset and start again...
Any experience like that?
Thanks in advance.

On my W3v if I unplug the AC adapter it switches to Batter mode and E-mail Office mode. The screen gets significantly dimmer. That's what the computer's tring to swicth too. Wish I could be of more help with the other stuff.

sometimes when i'm, playing a game my comp freezes and i cannot reset it using the 3 second powerbutton thingy. I have to pull out the AC adapter to get it to turn off.... am i ****ing up my lappy by doing that?

Pulling the plug on any computer is bad, but on a notebook, the battery should kick in automatically.

I kinda don't have my battery in when i pull it, but thats the point right? If the battery was in then i wouldnt be able to get it to restart if the blue button wasn't working.

You go to email mode because that's the last setting you were in when you were on battery power........ it's got a memory. Also, the stock lcd brightness on "email" is very dim. You can change all that. -

You can adjust the PowerGear settings by right-clicking on the icon in the system tray and selecting Configuration. Make sure all the battery mode profiles have display brightness setting greater than 25% (which is quite dim - I find that 50% is the minimum usable brightness).
Also, the button on the side of the W3 nearest the power switch allows you to step through the appropriate (AC or DC) PowerGear options, and Fn+F6 will increase the display brightness.
Be forewarned that if you stop on the Presentation setting, your windows will all be resized, and anything which is not maximised will not resize back to their original settings.
