    Blu-ray drive for N56vm...

    I would like to replace my DVD drive with a Blu-Ray drive. Can any of the gurus here tell me what size I should look for?
    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Any slim notebook drive should work, it should just be a case of moving the bezel and brackets across to the new one.

    2.5" I believe is the industry standard for notebook hard drives and optical drives. A quick Google search for "Blu-ray drive" will get you a plethora of results; just refine them for notebook results and you should be set.

    Thanks guys for the helpful replies. I have found a very nice drive on Amazon that will not only play blu-rays, but also burn them. I will let you know how it turns out.
