    Hi people.

I am trying to transfer some pictures from my Nokia 6230i cell phone to my computer (a8js) via BT. But, how to do this? The BT software does find the mobile, but it tries establish some COM ports? Normally I would expect to see it, so i could just open folders.

    Any advise?

    Thanks

You need to deal with my BT places under Windows, I believe. You need to make sure the BT radio is on in your phone, and you have to tell the phone to search for BT places. Windows should then display a prompt saying it wants to connect.

If you are struggling, and need to get the photos off the phone fast, use a USB cable or if your phone has a memory card, transfer photos to that and then dump the card to your computer.

Thx, but it doesnt seem to work. BT is on on both units (phone and laptop) nothing happens. You are saying this should work without using the bluetooth manager delivered by asus?

I am having this problem too. I have a Nokia 6265i which I am also trying to connect to my A8Js with bluetooth.

It seems like the Nokia software supports specific bluetooth "stacks" and I'm not sure if the goofy A8Js bluetooth software is supported.

Does anyone know what "stack" the A8Js bluetooth software uses?
