I have a G50vt and the other day I put my computer to sleep like always when I go to work. Well I come home, wake her back up, and now my bluetooth stopped working. The computer cant see any of my bluetooth devices, I even went out and bought a new bluetooth mouse but no dice. I thought about uninstalling the drivers but dont know how to do so and nothing about bluetooth shows up in device manager. ALSO, if i try to change any of the bluetooth settings an error occurs which says "An error occurred while Windows was saving your settings. The Bluetooth device might be unplugged. The following settings were not saved: Discoverability Settings Connection Settings"

Can anyone help me fix this? This is not the first time it has happened, the other 2 times I ended up doing a Full System Restore because of other problems. I dont know why this would happen out of nowhere, just after putting the computer to sleep for a while.

right i actually came across this problem tonight, an i actually think its a motherboard problem, hopefully in ur case, this is not the issue. a think what ur best to do is go through a few steps.

step one . check ur bios, sometimes the bluetooth is on that but sometimes not but its worth a check to see if its in there and if it enabled.

step two. uninstall the drivers if u can find them they would be in the control panel, bluetooth. . . . . .

step three, i think u prob have to do a system recovery, an if its not working by then, think ur going to have to take it on the chin that ur bluetooth isnt working, or if u aint had the laptop for longer than 2 years, then send it back to asus and get a new motherboard!

    hope this helped!

Fn + F2 a few times to disable and enable bluetooth doesn't do the trick?
