I got a MS bluetooth mouse, and after some messing around, I finally got it to work without messing up my touchpad enable/disable button. Apparently the MS mouse software replaces the synaptics drivers, giving that problem.
I'm still having a minor problem though.
When I boot up the computer, bluetooth is off by default. I have to log into the welcome screen, and after windows is ready, then I have to enable bluetooth with the button, and the mouse works.
Does anyone know of a way to make the bluetooth enabled by default so the mouse will work from the windows welcome/logon screen?
Thanks

I've only used a logitech bt mouse and their software doesn't replace synaptics........ that's weird.
Thanks,

Do you know if its normal to have to turn on bluetooth every time the computer is booted up?
With the wireless, if I leave it on, it stays on after I restart, but with bluetooth it just defaults back to off. Any idea how to change/fix this? -

If you set it on in Asus' wireless console it WILL stay on... I've been doing that for at least a few months now. I just restarted to make sure I wasn't crazy and everything is fine.

hmm it still doesnt stay on when I use the wireless console.. Anyway, now that I know it should work that way I'll try a few other things when I have some time.
Anyway, I've decided I'm going to get another mouse because of a few reasons I dont like the MS intellimouse. The laser is not centered on the bottom of the mouse, it is on the very right side, making it difficult to use on anything but a flat surface (sometimes I use the mouse on my leg for example). The scroll wheel does not click, it moves smoothly and this makes it easy to move by accident, and hard to control. There is no on/off switch on the mouse; battery life may be bad because of this. Also, its just a bit larger than what I'm used to.
Maybe I'll try the logitech one..
