I was a bit disappointed thatt my G72 didnt have Bluetooth, so I purchased a BT183 today and it will arrive in about a week...

it is cheap enough that if it doesnt work i wont feel bad but if it does...well...then i guess i have bluetooth for 15 bux!

I will be providing a step by step if it does work

Where did you find it? Link please? Is it the same one available @ the ASUS Store? Did you find the cable?

    Cheers,

i am a little worried the port for the new bt mod has changed. when the bt183 module was around even then the cables for it varied.

I found it by googling for BT adapters for the PCI slot and ccame across a thread about an Eee wifi mod and they listed the BT module that they removed. those adapters are all over ebay

well i hope it will work :) otherwise i didnt waste too much money :p

Does this mod require to take apart the whole laptop?

id like to see how you did this with just removing the keyboard because I am not seeing how.
