I bought the F3JA the other day, and it the bluetoothsoftware suprises me. It really sucks balls. Yes Im talking about the Toshiba bluetooth stack. Are there any alternative software available? Does this depend on the bt-device installed? I use the Widcomm software on my HP, and I love that one.

Another thing. I formated the whole thing cause the windows installation that came with the computer was loaded with bloatware and useless utilities, and now during startup, I get the choice between 2 windows XP, both are pro.
How do I remove the other one? This delays my startup by half a minute if I dont manually choose one of them.

Thank you very much in advance!

There is no bluetooth device in the f3j. Contact the vendor that advetised it as such and tell them to change their website

To help with ur mutli OS loading do this:

    1) Right click on My computer, then go Properties

    2) click on advanced, Startup Recovery [Settings]

    3) You will see that Check in the Time to display List of operating systems: 30 seconds.

    4) Change that to what ever number you want.

    5) click Ok and reboot ur system and see if it worked.

If not go back to that place and you can manualy edit it by pressing the EDIT button and adjusting the time there.

    Are you sure?
Cause windows startup, i get the message "new hardware detected" named toshiba something. and it wants to install drivers for some bt device.

Yeah I did that startup recovery part yesterday. I just removed the hatch that indicated the time the os list should appear. Worked just fine. Thanks for the help tho :)

f2jm shipment in the states does not have bluetooth. if you ae overseas that is a different story. You can tell for sure by checking the bottom of the laptop. There would be a sticker depicting the bt model number 183 telling you the notebook is equipped,.

Can I use Widcomm's software for my bt device? Or does it only support the Toshiba bluetooth stack? I can't figure out how to browse my cellphones content with that one..

Maybe next time you should get all the details before you bark out your orders. This guy does have BT, no matter what you say.

He's just missing the stack, as noted by the helpful responses.
