    Boosting sound volume on G51

    Forgive me if someone has already posted this...but for those of us that have G51's and are unhappy with the relatively low sound volume, I think I stumbled upon a partial solution.

    Right-click on the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the system tray, then left-click on Sound Manager. Under the "Speakers" tab, select the "Sound Effects" tab within that. You'll see a box called "Loudness Equalization". Check that. Since enabling that, I've had a noticeable increase in all my sound levels.

    Hopefully this helps some others that have been dealing with this issue.

    This information can also be found in some old G50 threads. The G50 suffers the same audio issues as the G51, but nevertheless, thanks for making a dedicated thread; it will make is easier for people to search :)
