I just ran bootlog and here's my results. The only thing that I deleted really is norton and I'm going to go through all these files through google probably and see what can be tossed. But if someone here can offer a quicker way of doing it I'm all ears! Or if you see something that can be tossed right off the bat please speak up! Because a almost two min boot time seems a lil slow to me....

What most people do is reformat their laptops, because the laptop feels a little sluggish in general and when booting.

Another solution is to use hibernate rather than shut down.

Start -> run -> type "msconfig" -> click on start up and find and select which programs you want to run during start up. If your wondering what each of these little programs do, google them, but if nothing turns up, post here.

This will help will your boot time, but may not be enough, maybe shave another 10-25 seconds off.
