Just bought this for my W2V its heavy but i think it should look great and protect the investment never carry my pc more than from my car to wherever so the weight isnt an issue.
Anyone have any experience with it?

Not bad at all....... I've got one that's similar but has a different bead rolled into the outside....... We've got them in aluminum and black anodized aluminum .... in sizes ranging from 12" to 17"... in 3 different styles... They're all worth between $120-$180..... this was the sort of thing we ran in July as an awesome special.........

I can at least tell you this... it's not lightweight as Asus carrying bag, but it's the sexiest, highest tech, alternative. By the way, the bags that are coming with the units are pretty protective and have an air space and a foam insert at the bottom of the bag to absorb more shock.... they're really nifty little bags.

It is heavy 6lbs. But i only carry my pc from my house to my car then to into my store. So i dont like walk blocks or anything so it doesnt matter i got it more for looks than anything honestly. I will use the asus bag if i have to travel with my laptop. The asus bag is actually pretty good targus bag better than i was expecting.
Hey justin do you sell your cases on your site or have any links to then id like to take a look at them?

I don't think anyone actually put them up...... I set up some special promos with some of the laptops during the summer and the response over the quality of them was great.... I also had the privledge of doing the quality testing and taking it to impress people..... I can honestly say I've done my fair share of testing and I should get them to get them up on the site next week. I don't know if we ever got the retail models of the black anodized in yet, but I've had demos for a couple months now.... give me a week.

Is it possible to use the notebook IN the case? Judging the picture I wonder if its necessary to take it out.

Taking the machine out of the bag/case is the most risky moment. This is when most laptops fall.

I am looking for a case where you can leave the case while working on the laptop. I go into buildingsites often and the bag that comes with the W2 doesn't have this functionality.

NOOOOOOO... I mean, MAYBE if you make sure you don't have interference on the right side where the air needs to blow out of. In that case you should be fine.

    Nice.......

That's the setup I am thinking about......What actually happens if the notebook gets too hot? Isn't there some protection system in the W2 that prevents overheating? Will it just shut down? Or crash? Or will it end up in a China Syndrone effect?

The bags i listed by shawn jackson desgins doesnt let the pc sit flat there is a spacer on the bottum so it gets air. my compaq doesnt heat up any more on that bag. the metal cause you woudlnt be able to run it in though.
