Bought an eeepc online, need dimensions for sticker.

I bought the 10in screen eeePcn 1000HD. I haven't got it yet so I need dimensions for a lid sticker. This a Xmas present for my sis. By the way I chose this over the 1000H cause i wanted the more powerful less efficient celeron and it was on sale at Best Buy at $379. I think my sis will not need wireless N.

 

The celeron is going to have a negative impact on battery life, and is going to be HOT, compared to the Atom since it's always running at full speed/highest voltage.

For what is considered an extreme ultraportable system, and because this is a gift for a sibling (wow, nice one by the way!), you might want to reconsider your purchase and change to the 1000H if you haven't cracked the box and have to eat the restock fee at BB.

 

There are a few places that have it for you.

http://www.schtickers.com/ you just say you have a EEE 1000H in the custom model section and it will be cut to the right size.

http://www.3acp.com/ these guys are the only ones I know of that there skin can have the lid, the bezel and the palm rest area. Pretty good prices too, but no make your own skin just preset ones. Good to prevent fingerprints.

 

The celeron is less powerful and less efficient than the atom. Where did you get the idea that the celeron is more powerful?

 

clock for clock the celeron is, but the Atom is clocked much higher and better on battery life.

It quite clear I would not buy a mode with the celeron personally.
