This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I wish my funds were ready the day before so I could guarantee it to get here on Friday. I paid for 2 day shipping so hopefully it arrives a day earlier (Since it's only traveling from South California to North California). Right now it's out and heading up.

    So that means I will be joining you early adopters (still got some keyboard issues I hear) in the fun-filled joy of complaining to Asus to get things done. =) Joking aside, I'm willing to put my bets on Asus to get the job done better than other companies. And besides, after hours upon hours of research on laptops, I have found this one to be the best one for me with my only turnoff (besides keyboard issues) the unnecessary flashiness and lack of color choice (If I had the option to go M50 black/grey on a G50, I'd do it in a heartbeat).

    I would also like to step up and thank GentechPC for their quick responses. Ken has answered all my questions through e-mail and even called me to confirm my order. He has almost literally been the face of GentechPC for me and he does it well. In fact, it feels like Ken is the only guy there. Are there other great people like you there, Ken? I would rather he answer it here instead of e-mail this time. =P
