I know there have been a few people that have had problems with the plastic part of the hinge cracking or breaking, but the metal part of the hinge underneath the cover has snapped off. I took it in to a few places to get it fixed, but they were either asking for more than what the laptop is worth or they are unable to fix this. I have the monitor propped up on the hinge that is sticking out, but I am afraid it is just a matter of time before the other side snaps off as well. I can not seem to remove or adjust the hinge, anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to get this resolved?

Thanks. Part of the broken hinge is stuck inside the case. Been trying to unscrew or take the hinge out, but having some trouble. I am thinking maybe there is some kind of special tool I need to make this easier.
