On the right side of my laptop i have issues using the USB ports, or audio ports.

It will detect it, then right away not detect it. Does this warrant the "ASUS loves their (new) customers - Free 1 year Accidental Damage Warranty"

    thanks

I think that qualifies for the standard warranty from asus, not the accidental one.

So yeah, give them a call...

The accidental warranty is for protection against fire, water, surge and drops. Your issue with the USB is a hardware problem, so it would fall under the standard warranty as andrewe1 mentioned.

Keep in mind that not all Asus laptops purchased from Best Buy has the accidental damage warranty.

Actually, I take back my last statement. All Asus notebooks from Best Buy will not have accidental warranty (sorry for the confusion). What I mean to say is that some Asus laptops from Best Buy will offer 2 years standard (hardware) warranty; most of them will be 1 year.

To check your warranty status, you will need to contact Asus technical support.
