Hmmmmm, the browser shortcut button on the side of the keyboard on my z63a returns a "can't get environment variable" error dialog box.

I know where to set the environment variables, and I don't see anything relating to the browser in the list. Anyone know what's up or what I need to enter?

It's obviously not super-critical, but I would like to have everything working properly.

That used to happen to me too... when I set FireFox as my default browser.
If you use IE as your default, it shouldn't say that...

I believe it's some sort of error with ATK0100 and Firefox.
I know that it happened with my Asus M6Ne...although when I had Firefox installed on this Z63a, it did NOT happen to me. However, I guess it COULD develop...?

Download and install the latest version of the ATK0100 ACPI UTILITY for the W3A http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/W3Z/ATK_XP_051021.zip. This includes a newer version of hcontrol.exe. I think this will fix the problem. The browser button on my W3A opens Firefox.

Note that there are various other updates for the W3A which haven't been posted for the Z63A, but will work (even the BIOS upgrade).

That actually just started to happen to me, just a few hours ago. What seemed to fix, temporarily, was to turn on and off the wireless card. Don't know why it happens though. I guess I better do some investigating.
