    i like the idea of the z83 but it seems like it missing things. i have heard that asus is coming out with newer laptops but i havent heard of any DIY 17" coming about heard something?

    if not, who else might i look at for the lastest in technology with 17" screens in a DIY kit?

    The Z83v is NOT getting replaced anytime soon.... For this time that A7 platform will become an ensemble, but Asus has no intentions at this time to bring in a Z83j --- within the next 45 days. The EOL (end of line) on the Z83v is the end of April.... nothing will or could come before that.
