I've gone through 7 DVDs trying to get two .avi files burned onto them. I've tried anything from 2x to 8x speeds, using Windows Explorer to do the burn, and Power2Go as well. The files get on the disc, but when I try to play them with WMP12 or even Windows Media Center, the video lags and stutters badly.

Firmware for the DVD drive is 02, and there's nothing newer on Asus' site. ANy ideas?

Thanks I'll give it a shot when I get home.

Actually had a chance to try it before I left. You are the man! Works perfectly. Never would've suspected both W7 Explorer AND Power2Go would have been jacked up.
