I've heard NCIX is a reputable place to purchase from in Canada, however their options for Asus notebooks may be limited. Newegg.ca is also a good place to buy if they are anything like Newegg in the US.

Keep in mind that US resellers such as GenTechPC also ships to Canada and offer customizable features, but you'll probably have to pay a hefty customs/duties tax.

I should mention that Asus rarely updates their website. The link above contains resellers that no longer exist (eg. the once reputable milestonepc.com has been out of business for years now)

ASUS is a good choice because of the customer service. I got one stuck pixel on my laptop. Gave them a call, got FedEx to pickup my laptop the next business day and got a brand new one two days later.

I got mine at Memory Express.
    They were great!!
I got their in-house warranty, and when my speakers stopped working ( more on that later), the gave me a new one. In fact, the bumped me up to the next trim level because they didn't have mine in stock.

The problem with the speakers is a software glitch with an easy work around; you just turn the volume all the way down and then turn it back up again.

Is there any particular model you're looking for? In terms of gaming, the newest "gaming laptops" from Asus(the G51 and G71) aren't yet available on the Canadian market as far as I know(well I've seen the G71 here and there mind you). The G50 is last generation's model and is widely available form many places.

Btw where do you live? And would you like to save on taxes or shipping?
