Tell us about your needs so we can help you better.

If portability isn't an issue though, I would just go with the G1S. From what I have seen so far, the F8sv isn't going to be the best gaming machine. If you aren't gaming though, it is another story.

That is why I ask more about your needs. Try filling out the FAQS for more help. :)

If you want excellent gaming power, the G1S is the best option, it is portable but it is a large 15.4" notebook. Especially compared to the V1S and MBP.

The F8sv vs Dell 1520, well both chassis are made out of plastic, I have played around with the Dell, and all I like was the white glossy lid, other than that it didn't please my eyes. As for the F8 pictures posted, in my opinion it is totaly gorgeous.

Performance wise it should match the Dell 1520, since the graphics card are the same.

The F8Sv will perform as well as the 1520 from what we know now, yes.

Yep, as those above said. However, the 1520 isn't a whole lot better than the G1 in terms of portability, theres not much weight difference. Its going to be a lot cheaper than the G1 and the F8 as well. So its price vs. performance vs. size. Pick your priority, and go with it.
